How to Use Emotions and Bold, Italicize, and Underline

myLot lets you use emotions a.k.a. smileys and put special effects on words once you reach and pass 200 posts. This process is very simple. This post will guide you in posting smileys and bolding your words as well as italicizing and underlining, but please do not overuse them.


Remember that this feature is only available when you post a discussion, response, or a PM!

To bring up the options, click on myLot Code


To add smiles...
Click on the smiles you would like to add to your post.
A description of each smiley will appear below when you mouse over them.

**Note: There is a limit of 3 smiles!**

To add effects to your words...
1. Highlight the words you want to change.


2. Click on B, I, or U to apply the effects
**Note: B stands for Bold, I stands for Italics, and U stands for Underline.


3. When you click on bold, italics, or underline, you cannot see it right away. Instead, you will see some code around the words you highlighted.




4. Click Preview to preview what your discussion will look like or click submit when you are done.
